Tempil has been manufacturing temperature-indicating products since approximately 1937 and is now a brand of LA-CO Industries. Tempilstik® temperature-indicating crayons are the standard tool for welding preheat and interpass temperature verification worldwide — used on pipelines, pressure vessels, structural steel and any application where temperature control is specified by welding procedure specifications (WPS).
Tempil products are available in over 100 specific temperatures from 38°C to 1371°C.
